Information We Collect

Simple 531 collects and stores the following types of information locally on your device:

Workout Data: Training max values, workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, and completion status for your lifts
Accessory Exercise Data: Custom accessory exercises you create, including names, sets, reps, and weights
Body Weight: Optional body weight entries you choose to record
Session Notes: Any notes you add to your workout sessions
App Settings: Your preferences including bar weight, rounding increments, rest timer duration, workout schedule, and notification preferences

How Your Data Is Stored

All your workout data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data remains on your device and under your control.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Simple 531 uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your workout data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is:

Encrypted by Apple during transmission and storage
Accessible only to you through your Apple ID
Not accessible to us or any third parties

You can disable iCloud sync for Simple 531 in your device's Settings app under your Apple ID > iCloud settings.

Information We Do Not Collect

Simple 531 does not collect, transmit, or share:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data
Health data from Apple HealthKit
Usage analytics or tracking data
Advertising identifiers
Any data to third-party services

Notifications

Simple 531 may request permission to send you local notifications for the rest timer feature. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers. You can manage notification permissions in your device's Settings app.

In-App Purchases

Simple 531 offers subscription options and a lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Device Information for Support

If you choose to contact us for support through the in-app feedback feature, the email may include basic device information (device model, iOS version, and app version) to help us assist you. This information is only shared when you voluntarily send a support email.

Data Retention

Your workout data remains on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you choose to keep the app installed. To delete all locally stored data, you can uninstall the app from your device. To delete iCloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings app.

Children's Privacy

Simple 531 is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Because your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have full control over your data. You can:

Access all your data directly within the app
Delete your data by uninstalling the app
Manage iCloud data through your device's Settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
